The Super Affiliate Handbook by Rosalind Gardner was my introduction to affiliate marketing. It was the first book I bought that gave me real step-by-step information for building and creating an affiliate marketing business the right way.
Since I bought the book (237 pages) back about 3 years ago, it’s been one of my highest recommendations for anyone interested in starting an affiliate marketing business, even to this day.
Believe me, I’ve purchased enough bona fied “duds” that I know what I’m talking about.
You won’t be getting outdated, ineffective information either, the Super Affiliate Handbook was last revised on October 7th, 2007 and Rosalind continues to keep up to date with new internet marketing strategies and business technology. Here’s more on how and why I use this book….
Rosalind Gardner has been doing online affiliate marketing since 1998. She started out posting a dating website for fun as sort of a side interest. Affiliate programs were just gaining momentum back then and Rosalind saw an opportunity and took it. She built her sites with integrity, found quality affiliate programs and learned all she could about promoting on the internet. She was such a success at it that she wrote the Super Affiliate Handbook and it’s been a super success.
With continued enthusiasm and hard work her web sites gained so much momentum that by 2002 she was bringing in $30,000 to $50,000 dollars every month.

One of the most amazing things to me about Rosalind is that she had no prior business experience, no sales training, no website experience, no computer savvy …all she really had was a healthy interest and ambition to get out of her current job.
We hear a lot about “the secrets” to internet wealth, but Rosalind will tell you that there are no secrets …just a little know how and the drive to succeed. Of course through the process, she created a few of her own strategies and techniques and she’s willing to share all that with you in the “Super Affiliate Handbook” (SAH).
This book is geared to the do-it-yourselfer covering the hard-hitting affiliate topics like how to build a website that sells, myths about doing business online, affiliate mistakes to avoid, how to find your niche, how to get the most traffic and how find the best paying affiliate products. Rosalind even covers how she generates 4-6% sales conversion rates. Before I read her book I was only generating about 1%. Yes, those few percentage points make a BIG difference
You should be aware however, that Rosalind’s primary method of promoting her affiliate sites is with pay-per-click advertising. She does cover a very wide variety of methods on how to get FREE traffic to your web site but Rosalind is a heavy pay-per-click user. Now, I use both PPC advertising and free promotion but I also use, and highly recommend, free search engine optimization methods, unfortunately Rosalind doesn’t cover much SEO in her book. I happen to believe in good website optimization and feel it’s important to the health of your website. What you don’t get in The Super Affiliate Handbook you can get in Aaron Wall’s SEObook and Aaron provides new and updated information as it comes out, you won’t be stuck with old, stale strategies.
Since I bought the ”Super Affiliate Handbook” I’ve opened several affiliate websites. One site alone sells over $10,000 worth of merchandise a month and my take home is over $1500 a month. Now, that may not seem like a lot, but multiply that over several sites doing just as well and I think you can see the potential. Of course, I plan to continue opening new sites until I reach my income goals.
Don’t be misled by all the hype that tells you affiliate marketing is about signing up for affiliate programs and slapping links on a website, that won’t work! Instead, learn how to create a thriving affiliate business with strategies, tips and techniques that work from a woman who has mastered it.
